About Stranger
The person behind Strangerland.net is Clint Hauser, a mid-30s Network Engineer living in the Atlanta area. He has been married since 2005 and has one son who was born in 2008.
Graduating from the University of Georgia in 1994, Clint was an avowed Liberal who went into teaching High School in Fayette County. For various reasons, he left teaching in 1997, which started opening his eyes to various other things.
In the years since, his political viewpoints have shifted from a mainstream Democrat liberal viewpoint to a Libertarian one that often borders on Objectivist. Like many other “independents” in the US, this results in conflicts given the issues with both the primary parties in the US political system.
Strangeland.net is often something of a pressure valve, providing vent space for issues. This also means it often will sit without update for weeks at a time as other items take precedence (work, family, etc).
